Luminis, an established innovator and manufacturer of specification-grade lighting solutions, is pleased to announce its Clermont family of interior and exterior luminaires has received a 2023 BrightStar Award from LEDs Magazine.
The BrightStar Awards program recognizes ingenuity in commercial product offerings across the LED and solid-state lighting supply chain, as determined by a panel of industry experts in design, manufacturing, and market development. Judges evaluate entries on five key factors: performance, reliability, efficiency, ease of integration/use, and innovation. Clermont was recognized in the Outdoor SSL category.
Clermont was designed with a “curb to cube” family approach. Designers can mix and match optic requirements and mounting options to create a consistent design aesthetic and carry it from outdoors to indoors. Applications include roadways, pathways, public parks, university campuses, and indoor public spaces such as reception areas, hotel lobbies, or offices.
The classic, beveled shape of Clermont is designed to work with a range of mounting options, including pole, post top, catenary, wall mount, ceiling, stem, and aircraft cable. Two optics options are available. A glare-managing comfort optic is available for exterior applications when pedestrian needs are the priority or to ensure occupant comfort in interior spaces. An advanced high-output performance optic is offered for street and area illumination, enhancing visibility, and reducing dark zones.
Clermont will be featured, with all 2023 BrightStar Award honorees, in the July/August issue of LEDs Magazine.
