Luminis' continuous care, that extends to paint and finishing, has led us to develop some of the industry’s most unique techniques in powder coatings. A meticulous process, which carries through our production line, ensures the highest paint quality and adhesion to withstand demanding weather conditions.

A five-stage preparation process includes preheating of cast aluminum parts for air extraction, and an environmentally friendly alloy sealant. Polyester powder coating is applied through an electrostatic process, and oven-cured for long term finish. All our powercoats are PVC-free, RoHS, and Red List Free, making them environmentally friendly.

OVER THE FINISH LINE: NATATORIUM, MARINE-GRADE

Natatoriums bring unique challenges for luminaires, where appropriate sealing and powder coating is necessary to withstand the harsh chemicals in the environment. Luminis offers luminaires designed for these unique settings.

Luminis also has several luminaires available with a marine-grade finish. These luminaires are suited for coastal areas, standing up to hostile environments that include high winds and salt water.
