Luminis, an established innovator and manufacturer of specification-grade, interior and exterior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce its Syrios Pro family has received a 2024 Best of Products Award from The Architect’s Newspaper (AN).
The Architect’s Newspaper awards recognize the best in show across a spectrum of products, from structural systems to acoustic solutions to decorative lighting, that, when used well, work in harmony to construct our built environment. The jury comprises architects, designers, educators, curators, manufacturers, and AN editors. Entries are evaluated for innovation, aesthetics, performance, and value. Syrios Pro was recognized in the Lighting: Outdoor Category.
Syrios Pro luminaires enable a continuous aesthetic from curb to cube. It caters to many exterior applications, including street and area lighting for public spaces, sidewalks, pathways, parking lots, and building facades. Carrying the design aesthetic indoors, Syrios Pro enhances retail, hospitality, education, or office spaces.
The family of luminaires is available in round or square, 4.5" and 6" formats. Designers can choose from various mounting types, including wall (downlight or up/downlight), surface ceiling, pendant stem, aircraft cable, or catenary.
Several new options have been introduced to complete the Syrios Pro family. Five standard IES distribution types and a new pole mount are now available. The 6° very narrow optic, also new to the family, draws attention to subtle details, from columns to stone textures, to provide a sense of drama. Finally, a new batwing distribution is available as an uplight option for the 6” format luminaire.
Syrios Pro will be featured in AN’s Best of 2024 issue, distributed later this year.
